The screenplay for 'Growth of the Soil' is a co-effort between Moland and Gard B. Eidsvold, based on Hamsun's 'Markens Grøde', which was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1920. The cinematography is by Oskar Dahlsbakken, known for his work in 'Possession' and 'Munch, The Arctic Convoy', and the original score is composed by Kaspar Kaae, who has contributed to films like 'Fjord' and 'In Order of Disappearance'.

Scanbox Entertainment will release the film in theaters across Scandinavia on October 30.
